Design Ireland

I am excited to announce that I have been accepted to participate in Design Ireland 2021/22.

Design Ireland is dedicated to promoting the breadth and quality of Irish design and craft. on the website www.designireland.ie you can see profiles of some of Ireland’s most talented designers and makers to learn more about their discipline, feel inspired by their work and buy their products. I will soon be joining them!

Joining Kilkenny Design Group

I am so thrilled to have been approached by the Kilkenny Design group to sell my work there! Shock of Grey work will be available in their Irish Designer category and I will join the likes of Juvi, Chupi, Alan Ardiff, Yvonne Kelly & Scribble & Stone. Showcase created the connection and I am very excited about it! Work will be available from April 2021

New Photography

I have worked with the Morgan Agency and Harry Rhys Thomas Photographer to create some gorgeous looks to help promote my jewellery. You’ll see it popping up in press and online over the next few months.

The looks is very Shock of Grey combining bold bright colours and shapes with contrasting materials and textures of hand painted wood and brass.

Showcase Ireland 2021

Delighted to have been chosen by The Design and Crafts Council of Ireland to take part in Showcase Ireland in January! It’s going to be a bit different without the RDS and being virtual but a great chance to connect with buyers from around the World! Very excited about this!

Shock of Grey is thrilled to be included on the justbuyirish.com website. It has already had a huge effect on my business and increased orders! Just buy Irish is a weekend side-project, created to highlight some of the superb Irish producers around the country. Buying local has a significant impact on our neighbourhood economy. Every €1 spent locally on Irish products generates more than €4 of benefits in terms of employment in our local communities & money back into our areas.

Green Friday

Usually it’s Black Friday but this year I‘m taking part in Green Friday and to celebrate one my packaged will go out on an order from Friday 20th-27th November with green shredded paper instead of the usual white! Om Diva’s Makers Market is Back

The fabulous Om Diva is bringing back its Makers Market launching at the end of the month! Follow @omdivaboutique in Instagram, for updates. Two floors of Irish made goods, many of which can’t be bought anywhere else! This shop is a fantastic example of supporting local and buying Irish. Always something different and unusual in stock. They are also now on Depop @omdiva for many items.
